A revolution is brewing as the term "diet" has rightly become a bad word. This is an earned concern, as many girls and boys, women and men are presently in the grasp of an eating disorder: its strangle-hold both debilitating and deadly. Mercifully, life-saving relief through a new, spiritual view of ourselves and our relationship to food is finally at hand; a changed perspective that can-as it did for the author-successfully break the grip of this deadly monster and strip it of its seeming power. The trick is to learn to metaphysically "let go and let God" take control of your thoughts and outward experience. In short, the spiritual can dictate and transform the human experience-of even food.
Ann Red's life dramatically changed as a result of this kind of enlightened thinking. Using a spiritual approach to find light where there was only darkness before, she found answers and lasting recovery. Whereas other seekers have unsuccessfully tried to write God out of the answers, Ann Red instead wrote out everything that was notGod; this opened the conversation to, "Can you really think yourself thin?" and, "If you align your thoughts with Principle, God, what will those changes look like in the human experience?"
The simple answer is always the same: You perceive what you believe!

About The Author
Ann Red's publishing history is extensive, her areas of expertise covering creative, technical, and non-fiction genres. She has been a widely published newspaper and magazine writer in two cities, Ocala and Gainesville, Florida, and has worn an editor's cap at a community college newspaper and on recent articles and dissertations for students at the University of Kansas, near where she resides. Her skills thus honed, Ms. Red currently serves as an Associate Editor on both the Kansas English Journal and The Writer's Slate, which specifically features the writing of young people of all ages. Loving children and cherishing their innocence, over a period of ten years before and after graduate school, Ms. Red taught both middle and high school (English composition/grammar, English literature, social studies, and a variety of sciences) in North Central and Central Florida, where she lived for most of her life and where her story unfolds. After briefly pursuing a career as an environmental consultant/technical writer and editor for a national environmental consulting firm, she ultimately returned to that which she loves most-creative writing. Happily, Ms. Red now gets to write and live her beliefs aloud on paper.
