Gutting the Monkey
James Iverson, J.W. Iverson, and Philippe Farcy

Gutting the Monkey

"Gutting the Monkey" is the second published novel from the writing team of John Iverson, James Iverson, and P. Farcy "Gutting the Monkey" follows the life of Billy Halverson - Recon Marine, Mercenary, Bodyguard, and Enforcer. It is a street-smart, fast paced adventure, based on actual events and the sometime altered reality resulting from the use of psychotropic drugs. The two worlds often collide and blur the line between the real and the surreal. The story revolves around Billy's quest to rediscover his better nature and find redemption - before the "monkey on his back" drives him further into the abyss. Billy not only feels the grip of the Monkey, but is able to see and hear him as the Monkey lures him into a tragic downward spiral of addiction, self destruction, and violence. No one will be spared the Monkeys wrath. Billy does not choose a psychiatrist couch or confessional booth to find enlightenment and cast out his demons. That would be too easy. Billy goes deeper into the abyss to meet his demon face to face. But….The Monkey will not go away until Billy has been destroyed. Can Billy "Gut the Monkey" and find enlightenment or will Billy sink lower into a pit of violence and despair? This is a great read for anyone that has struggled to be free from their inner demons or aided another in the fight. "Gutting the Monkey" is a different kind of story; far removed from the mundane arc of "one man against the world" relying instead, on the more empathetic approach of "one man's struggle against his inner beast". The action emerges from within an unforgettable backdrop of music and pop culture, giving the novel the dreamlike atmosphere of "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" combined with the edgy appeal of "Fight Club." The action moves fast and the narration is full of sardonic anecdotes and dark humor.

These are the type of questions Detective Ernie Lijoi Sr., will answer and some of the situations he will face and inspired by his experiences which has been named, “The Cash Mule” , while he tries to keep his family safe and free of the dreadful undercurrent that springs from a world of illegal and despicable behavior. The Lords of Seduction
Dr. E. Gaylon McCollough

The Lords of Seduction

They are known by many names: The Order of the Illuminati, Belderbergers, Hidden Hand, Shadow Government, and Invisible Empire. For the purposes of this book, the band of self-designated “despots” have been given a more fitting title: The Lords of Seduction. Following their idol—the Prince of Darkness—these seductive and ruthless overlords became masters at manipulating people and governments, coaxing them ever closer toward the boneheaps of history, including the United States. In gallant fashion, the author takes readers behind the scenes of an Illuminati-Islamic Alliance where a global coup d’état is being orchestrated. At the same time, peoples of the world are being distracted by a group of equally-as-seduced “puppets”—Islamic jihadists. Many readers will see—for the first time—the declarations of a little-known ancient cipher (The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion) which provide frightening details as to how a “supranational sovereignty of world bankers and intellectual elites” intend to “destroy God” collapse the United States of America and deliver a beguiled world into the hands of their lord, Lucifer. Unless…..

The Truth About Slavery in the United States and Around The World
J. Jackson Owensby

The Truth About Slavery in the United States and Around The World

An open and unbiased look at one of the most contentious and controversial subjects since the beginning of man. Slavery, it appears, is a status that many people in modern times have come to believe is a stigma belonging solely to the United States of America, its founders and its history. The current concept of slavery for many people, especially in America, is limited only to the idea that many unwilling blacks were abducted from Africa and brought to the United States and that the blacks were suppressed by the ‘white’ owners. And there is a lot of truth in this concept. Slaves were indeed often abused, mistreated, suppressed, and remaining uneducated and subject to the dictates of their owners. However, not all owners were ‘white’. As history records, there were more than a few blacks and other nationalities, including Native American Indians, who were slave owners as well. These owners were little different from the British colonists who imported slaves not only from Africa, but from almost every nation. And not every slave was black or African.

The United States Declaration of Independence (Revisited)
America The Great Series
The Birth of a Nation
The Revolutionary Era
Volume I

The United States Declaration of Independence (Revisited)

J. Jackson Owensby brings the United States Declaration of Independence into the 21st Century. Behind the actual Declaration itself lay years of planning, fighting, debate, arguments and differences between neighbors, between families and between husbands and wives. The British Government headed by King George III continued to enact punitive legislation against the American colonists, despite their pleas for leniency and relief. Act after punitive act, tax after burdensome tax. Taxes imposed in violation of the British Constitution itself. Finally the load became too much to bear and the yoke around their necks began to chafe. The colonists had had enough. It was time to tell King George III and it was time to tell the world. “WHEN, IN THE COURSE OF HUMAN EVENTS, IT BECOMES NECESSARY FOR ONE PEOPLE TO DISSOLVE THE POLITICAL BANDS WHICH HAVE CONNECTED THEM WITH ANOTHER, AND TO ASSUME AMONG THE POWERS OF THE EARTH THE SEPARATE AND EQUAL STATION TO WHICH THE LAWS OF NATURE AND NATURE’S GOD ENTITLES THEM, A DECENT RESPECT TO THE OPINION OF MANKIND REQUIRE THAT THEY SHOULD DECLARE THE CAUSES WHICH IMPEL THEM TO THE SEPARATION.” With these words, thirteen disorganized, fragmented, disagreeing, arguing, feuding and fussing colonies prepared to take on the greatest military power of the time. And they changed the world.

Wapasha and the Rabbi

Wapasha and the Rabbi

This contemporary story, Wapasha and the Rabbi, mirrors the lives of a small group, while reflecting on the universal power of the past to influence human lives. This is poignantly revealed not only in the stories told by the two protagonists, but also in the stories told by some of the young people, who share their lives with Rabbi Itsak Cohen on an isolated farm in the back country of Texas. Wapasha—a full-blooded American Indian, and the last Shaman of a dwindling Karankawan tribe—gained a medical school education, and is a practicing country doctor. The encounter of the Rabbi and Wapasha stunningly uncovers their compatible religious heritage, albeit from diametrically polar backgrounds. The Rabbi, a product of a European Jewish youth, while Wapasha’s Jewish faith was brought to the New World centuries earlier by a young Jew who had fled the Spanish Inquisition (as told in Selden’s book, The Shaman and the Jew). The supportive relationship that evolves between the Rabbi (a Holocaust survivor) and Wapasha (a Vietnam War veteran) is central to the tale. Though the cause of their post-traumatic anguish is different, they recognize that their lingering and distressing emotional responses are the same.

Weightless Being
A Spiritual Guide to Weight Management

Weightless Being

A revolution is brewing, as the term “diet” has rightly become a bad word. This is an earned concern, as many girls and boys, women and men are presently in the grasp of an eating disorder, its strangle-hold both debilitating and deadly. Mercifully, life-saving relief through a new, spiritual view of our ourselves and our relationship to food is finally at hand; a changed perspective that can, as it did for the author, successfully break the grip of this deadly monster and strip it of its seeming power. The trick is to learn to metaphysically “let go and let God” take control of your thoughts and outward experience. In short, the spiritual can dictate and transform the human experience—of even food. Ann Red’s life dramatically changed as a result of this kind of enlightened thinking. Using a spiritual approach to find light where there was only darkness before, she found answers and lasting recovery. Whereas other seekers have unsuccessfully tried to write God out of the answers, Ann Red instead wrote out everything that was not God; this opened the conversation to: “Can you really think yourself thin?” and “If you align your thoughts with Principle, God, what will those changes look like in the human experience?” The simple answer is always the same: You perceive what you believe.

When Angels Go To War

When Angels Go To War

What does a war between angels and demons look like? There are many questions surrounding these two supernatural beings that have never been directly answered. In our book When Angels Go To War an angel named Gabriel answers questions that have been hidden in mystery through the ages. His exploits from some of the most significant events in history answer some of the most escapable questions. Questions such as: are angels capable of romance? Which are stronger between angels and demons? Are there rules of engagement and if one is fallen where do they go? Do mankind’s decisions directly affect the ongoing battle between the two supernatural forces? From Jesus Christ’s death on the cross, the advent of Catholicism, and the ensuing crusades and inquisition, Angels war and strategize against the fallen. The battles are sometimes humorous and often heartbreaking as they are caught up in the conflict between love and when angels go to war for the souls of mankind.
